The New York-listed, Vancouver-based company has agreed to buy two new suezmaxes delivering in 2027 for a combined $190m — $95m each — at an unnamed South Korean shipyard. Brokers quote a newbuilding price of $89m. The resale market has been running hot as owners seek to secure ships on the water quickly in record freight markets.
