The unnamed vessel was approached by a small skiff about 14 nautical miles (26 miles) south of the Yemeni coast early on Monday, the UK Maritime Trade Operations said. Those on the skiff then opened fire on the vessel and a boarding was attempted, the report said. There is no word on whether or not the boarding was successful.
